Carpet Bag from 19th Century Hand Woven Tribal Rug by Stacy Leigh Ready to Ship This bag has an Ethnic look and feel. The wool is hand woven and then decoratively embroidered in the pattern of arrows and geometric shapes. The tapestry colors are beige, dark brown, and reddish brown. Both the front and the back of the bag feature an antique textile, each in a different color. Reinforced with leather interfacing. Leather rim and leather interior pockets. The shoulder strap is designed after an equestrian girth. It is 2 1/4 wide by 19.5 long with a 9.5 drop. The bag is 15 tall by 13 across with a 4 bottom. Lined in a taupe micro suede with leather pockets. Magnetic snap closure. One of a kind. Embellished with a deer antler tip, long leather braid, and a rustic tassel made from the rugs fringe. Original antique textile is from an 19th C., handwoven, hand embroidered, wool, tent divider. The large, rug like textile is woven in 6 different panels and stitched together by hand. The wool fabric is over 100 years old and is made by hand so natural and age related flaws are part of the textile. The wool is inherit-ably a bit scratchy to the touch. This bag holds a bit of history and has a Nomadic, Bohemian vibe.
